SS Peter & Paul will be hosting the Winter Dinner Friday, February 2nd. Parishioners from all four parishes are invited to attend this event catered by the Downtowner. Dinner options include Prime Rib or Chicken Marsala. If you would like to attend, please drop off your tickets from the bottom portion of the flier indicating which meal option you would prefer, as well as your payment of $50 per plate. Tickets and payments are due by Monday, January 29th and can be placed in the collection basket, dropped off at the parish office, or placed in the SS Peter & Paul alley tithing box. Due to extreme cold temperatures, all parishioners are dispensed from the obligation to attend mass this weekend. Masses have been cancelled for Saturday and Sunday (January 13th & 14th) at Our Lady of Grace, St. Timothy's and St. Mary's parishes. SS Peter & Paul will continue regularly scheduled mass times during the weekend; however, we ask that parishioners be cautious if planning to attend. Those unable to attend mass has been dispensated from the obligation and are asked to either pray the rosary or read the Sunday readings. Click on this post for a link to the readings. Due to the upcoming snow & cold, Masses on Friday, January 12th are cancelled. For the weekend of January 13/14, all parishioners are dispensed of the obligation to attend Mass. There will be no Masses in Anita, Griswold, or Reno. Atlantic will have weekend Masses, but all are urged to use great prudence in discerning weekend plans.
