Our local Msgr. Kane Atlantic Knights of Columbus will be preparing Lenten meals each Friday from February 24th through March 31st. Dinner selections include Fried Alaskan Pollock with a baked potato, green beans, and coleslaw or Shrimp Alfredo and coleslaw for $15.00 or Macaroni & Cheese with green beans and coleslaw or Alredo Pasta and coleslaw for $10.00. Attached to the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord (Candlemas Day) on February 2nd is a day of prayer for men and women in consecrated life. This day when candles are blessed symbolizing Christ who is the light of the world so too are those in consecrated life called to reflect the light of Jesus Christ. This year we will celebrate during the weekend of February 4th - 5th. Please pray for all the men and women in consecrated life and for those discerning a place in these communities.
The CCW is hosting an online auction again this year in hopes of raising $15,000 to support the women and youth of our parish, as well as contribute to Parish Center renovations. Due to predicted extreme weather conditions, the parish office will be closed Thursday, December 22nd and Friday, December 23rd. The office will also be closed as planned during the week between Christmas and New Year's Day (December 26th to January 2nd). Tuesday, January 3rd, the office will reopen.
Any donations to our parish for the 2022 calendar year must be received or mailed by December 31st. Any offerings collected during Saturday, December 31st Mass will be recorded as 2022 tithing. Donations received Sunday will start the 2023 donation year. Thank you for your generosity over the past years!
